Full mouth reconstruction
The place where we always take care about your smile.
Your oasis of health.
The test results came in; your dentist already told you that you’re eligible for a full mouth reconstruction.
You might need some new crowns, some implants, etc. This might sound a little confusing at first, and you will start wondering what is there to do next.
This shouldn’t be something to worry about; allow us to guide you through the steps that will be taken.
The first step of a full mouth reconstruction is the consultation process with the dentist.
Both your dentist and you will discuss what the goals for this procedure will be: ideal results, how quickly they want to see changes, etc. The dentist will ask you about everyday habits such as smoking, what is it that you eat or drink, any medications that you might be taking at the moment, etc.
After the initial consultation is done, the dentist will conduct different oral tests, neck and head examinations, and see what the real damage of the condition is.
Your dentist will take some records; he will examine your oral cavity using x-ray scans, using images or impressions of your teeth.
Your dentist will proceed to create a digital design of the aftermath of the full mouth reconstruction procedure and the expected locations of where the teeth will be after the treatment.
You’ll be able to test a mockup of the restoration to see if it adjusts to both your needs and looks; this stage is important as it allows the dentist to perform any modifications to the original design if needed.
Your dentist will create a treatment plan after all of the aforementioned steps have been taken already. She or he will let you know what the steps to be taken are going to be and which procedures will have to be performed to make sure that you will be able to smile again.
Your dentist will let you know about the approximate or total costs of the necessary procedure and how much time it’ll take to be treated.
Please keep in mind that a full mouth reconstruction can take a long time to be completed because of the time that the treatments might take, so you’ll be paying the dentist a few visits for quite some time before everything is finished. Some procedures need some time to heal before completing them.
